WHAT is your email address? If you must say "I'm sorry, I don't have an email address", here is what you need.

@emailcenter.com can remove that embarrasment.  @emailcenter.com is a department of COM CENTER, a message forwarding facility.  In business since 1979, COM CENTER can provide you with your very own email address.  All you need is access to a fax machine.

HERE is how it works. An email address for you will be established at our site, @emailcenter.com.

TO send a message, simply fax your email message to our shop.  Com Center operators will process your message and send it to the addressee.  Responses addressed to you come to our shop. Upon receipt of a message for you, we will fax the incoming message to you.  Other private and special message delivery methods can be selected.  This will assure absolute confidentiality of your inbound messages.  Unless a fax machine is at your desk, your inbound message may be read by others in your office.

HERE are some of the advantages of our service.

IT is not necessary to own a computer or subscribe to an on-line service.

YOUR messages are absolutely confidential and private.  No one within your organization will be able to monitor your messages.

IF you have an email address at your place of employment, the address may not follow you if you change employment.  Your @emailcenter.com address will follow you as long as you remain an active Com Center client.

THERE is never a line transmission charge -- no matter where in the world your message is addressed.  There is a preparation charge described below.

YOUR Your address -- the name to the left of the @ can be selected by you.  Spaces are not allowed.  An underline character _ can be used in lieu of a space.  After the @ sign the domain name emailcenter.com will appear.  Here is a typical valid address: charliebrown@emailcenter.com.

COST:

OUTBOUND messages are billed at $1 for each 100 words or less.  100 words equals approximately 10 lines of typewritten text.

MESSAGES must be addressed to a valid email address.  Directory service is not available.

EACH inbound message is billed at 50 cents each.  The charge covers our cost of retrieving and forwarding your email messages.  At your request we will intercept and destroy what we consider spam (junk email) at no charge to you.

AN important fact to remember -- the service is a form of mail.  While transmission is virtually instantaneous to any destination, there is no way to know when mail has been delivered.  Should you require instant written record service, you should use fax or telex service (both provided by Com Center).
